These huge corporations are doing their best to remove any and all competition in the pharmacy community so they can have an unimpeded path to profit. One of their most utilized tools to accomplish this feat is controlling drug pricing. By having ultimate authority to set prices they control the flow of money between insurance companies, drug manufacturers and pharmacies. By paying pharmacies well below a reasonable rate for the prescription medicine they purchase to then dispense to you, our patients, they put a financial vice grip on community pharmacy across the nation.
